2012 Campaign
United Way's 2012 Community Campaign will kick off on September 20, 2011. This year's Vice-President of Campaign is Ron Voigt, Ozaukee County Register of Deeds and long time resident of Ozaukee County. We have set a lofty goal for ourselves, we are trying to raise thru the United Way Campaign $200,000. If we succeed, it will be the first time in the history of United Way of Ozaukee that the Campaign has topped that $200,000 mark.
While $200,000 is a challenge that we have enthusiastically taken on, we recognize that the need has increased evenmore dramatically, it will be my hope that we can not only meet the goal but exceed it.
Last year, our community rallied in the last days of the campaign to raise a record breaking $191,000 in a tough economy, a true testament to the caring power of this community. We are once again relying on this community to pull together to meet the needs of the people who live, work and play in Northern Ozaukee County.
We are actively recruiting people from across Northern Ozaukee to help make this year's campaign a success. If you are interested in joining us in making a difference in your community, we could use your time and talents. We are looking for help with the fund-raising efforts, recruiting UWNO business and individual ambassadors throughout the community, and volunteers for our day of caring this fall.
Thanks to our generous corporate partners and the community as a whole, we exceeded our 2011 goal of $175,000. United Way of Northern Ozaukee raised over $190,000 in one of the most challenging economic times, and 2012 looks to be as challenging. We are setting our goal for next year at $200,000.
Each day Forty Five people reach out to the United Way. Can you Help Us help just one?
