Who We Help

The United Way of Northern Ozaukee County is committed to funding programs that help our neighbors. Over 85% of funds raised go back into the community.

Following is a list of the 16 agencies and programs we currently support in Northern Ozaukee County. Many of these agencies offer other programs that are not funded by the United Way of Northern Ozaukee County.   • Children’s program offers services of intervention and prevention to children who witness domestic violence.
  • Goal: Help children discuss experiences and feelings dealing with violence in their home and find ways to feel safe.

Fact: 34 Saukville, Port Washington, Fredonia, & Belgium children served in 2004.

  • To provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
 

Fact: 224 local residents trained in emergency preparedness and 7 assisted during disasters in 2004.

Fact: 400 individuals served per week in our communities in 2005. Fifty percent of the individuals served are children under 18 and 37% of the individuals served are seniors aged 65+.
