Girl Scouts of Manitou Council

Partner since 1950

Girl Scouts of Manitou is the largest girl-serving organization in the Lake Michigan western shoreline area.  One in every three girls in every elementary school in Ozaukee County is a Girl Scout. More than half of those elementary aged Girl Scouts then continue in Girl Scouting through their middle school and high school years. All these Girl Scouts are guided by more than 350 volunteers who have gone through extensive background checks and training to provide the Girl Scout program to girls.

Girl Scouts offers unique opportunities for girls to:

  • To succeed at new activities that build confidence
  • To give service to their community that build a life-long a spirit of generosity

Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County

Client/Recipient Services Program. Volunteer support for the elderly and disabled.

Starting Point of Ozaukee

Partner since 1990

Starting Point of Ozaukee serves as the frontline resource to the Ozaukee County community for the prevention, education, early intervention, and referral of community members affected by chemical abuse or dependence.

 

Ozaukee County Circle of Friends

Partner since 1994

Ozaukee County Circle of Friends, Inc. is a tax-exempt nonprofit group that provides recreational, social and educational activities for special needs children or young adults who reside in Ozaukee County.

  • Programs in a supportive environment with other families of special needs children
  • Opportunity for individuals with and without disabilities to learn more about each other, socialize and have fun together.

 

Ozaukee County Jail Literacy Program

On April 8, 1992, the Ozaukee County Jail Literacy Program, Inc. opened its doors to provide educational opportunities to incarcerated adults who are over 18yrs. of age and do not have their high school diplomas.

Ozaukee Family Services

OFS supports local children and families by providing: affordable counseling, education presentations to keep kids safe, parent education and support groups and services that help seniors remain living independently to more than 6,000 local residents each year.

Connects people with volunteer experiences Advocate for nonprofit agencies Clearinghouse for donated goods. Supports volunteer programs in schools, nonprofits, churches, and businesses.
