Stone Soup 2018

STONE SOUP EVENT

October 6 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

If you or your family/friends are looking for a fun group project, this is a great opportunity to come together to help fight hunger. In just two hours of your time, your small contributions will add up to a better life for all. Your children will benefit from volunteering, too! They will readily understand why they are preparing a meal for someone who is hungry, and the activity may lead to long-term volunteering.

We are looking to recruit volunteers to help us build and package meals for Family Sharing of Ozaukee, the Saukville Food Pantry, and Advocates of Ozaukee. Saturday, October 6th from 10 am until noon, at Parkside Community UCC, we will package, label, and box the meals up for distribution to the clients. ONCE THE MEALS ARE PACKAGED WE WILL ALL SIT DOWN AND BREAK BREAD TOGETHER.

For more information on how you can donate food, and or volunteer for the event, please contact Barbara Bates-Nelson @ 248 613 7855 or email at uwno@sbcglobal.net
