True to our founding spirit, whenever there is a need in our communities,   United Way is there.   We bring a comprehensive approach to every challenge, which includes actively listening and responding to local needs, collaborating with local organizations, and implementing sustainable solutions.  
 
From strengthening local resilience to advancing health, youth opportunity, and financial security, we're working towards a future where every person in our community can reach their full potential, inspiring hope and a sense of possibility.

LOCAL ORGANIZATION

  • Staff: one paid staff member, Executive Director
  • 200 volunteers help with all phases of the operation.
 
The dollars raised here stay here in Ozaukee County, fostering a sense of local connection and community involvement.  Over 85% of the money raised is reinvested in the community through various programs.

Our board comprises 16-21 business leaders and community volunteers who reside and work in Ozaukee County. They understand that despite our high median household incomes, many individuals and families struggle to meet basic needs. When it comes to allocating donated funds, they are committed stewards, instilling a sense of confidence and reassurance in our community.
